Saw a few of those baseball cap cops were there.
Looked like they should be doing security at Westfield.
Obviously a big police presence as Green St was piled high with shit. Presumably due to all their horses rather than the police themselves.

I saw a bloke jump over the barrier to beat the queue. Things got very tense.
Thankfully the coppers in baseball caps were there.

The Posh couple from Gogglebox were reported to be coming in on the 5:05 from Cheam and there was a panicked surge as people rushed not to miss a selfie opportunity.
To be fair it gave the police little choice but to close the station on safety grounds. Typical bad organisation by West Ham though, if they had announced it at half time it would have give people a chance to skip away early.

They brought out the 10 newcastle firm that had not slipped away early, plenty of laughing at them
At 2.50 a mob of 30 got escorted to the ground and all the clever coppers fucked off with them, at 3.10 another 50 came out un escorted with hardly any west ham about and they gave it "we hate cockneys" outside the queens and all the way to the Away end,

An old copy of "Razzle" was found wedged under the stairs, causing a "Black Friday" style attempt by the public to reach it.
A police spokesman said that he hadn't come up against anything like it for years.
